AI Foundations for Nurse Practitioners is a practical, self-paced prerequisite for NPs and advanced practice providers who want to use AI with sound clinical judgment. It explains how large language models work in plain language, where HIPAA and PHI risks arise, how to recognize hallucinations and bias, and how to verify AI-generated content. Learners will practice a repeatable prompting framework, compare six major AI platforms at a high level, and apply safe AI literacy to one workflow in their own practice.
