In 2017 the regulations to the Illinois Nurse Practice Act were amended to allow Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to Practice as Full Practice Authority after meeting certain requirements. In June 2019, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations issued the final rules.
